Description
This is a classic Seiko dress watch from January 1972, serial number 214850, model 7005-2000, in all original condition. The watch has had a full service and it’s keeping great time and it’s in excellent used condition.
The movement is the Seiko inhouse 7005 which is fully automatic, with a quick set date function and no seconds hacking feature. The power reserve is 40 hours on a full charge.
The dial is a lovely original off white colour with silver baton hour markers and a framed date window at three o’clock. The dial has significant areas of patina, which just adds to the originality and classic elegance and style of the watch. The hands have been replaced with a modern set of the original style hands.
The polished steel case has a small amount of wear, no deep or excessive scratches, with the crown at the three o’clock position. The case is 36.5mm across excluding the crown, and is a lovely slimline 11mm deep, allowing it to slip under the tightest shirt cuff. The strap is a new black leather alligator style with a stainless steel buckle which matches the watch case.
The watch is supplied with a black leather box and a guarantee for 12 months covering everything except accidental damage and wear and tear.
